Located
within the Historic District of beautiful Old Town Bluffton,
Stock Farm anchors the western gateway entering
the Town on May River Road. The urban and architectural design
of Stock Farm takes its inspiration from three predominant
factors:
First,
creating a western gateway to
the
Old Town on May River Road with mixed-use buildings of a scale
matching historic buildings existing in Bluffton today. These
offices and shops will line May River Road with pedestrian
friendly connections to Old Town.

Second,
the Stock Farm design is sensitive to the existing low country
vernacular that currently exists in the Stock Farm Road
area. And third, the community was designed
to protect and enhance existing natural resources with property
line and road placements that avoided significant trees
as much as possible. A dense area of hardwood trees is protected
by a dedicated park where children can play and families
can picnic.
